Bears in Alaska

Bears are animals of landscapes as illustrated y the image above which includes habitat for denning up in the snowy mountains, lowlands with sedges, berries and other edibles including caribou and moose and lakes and rivers which are used to catch spawning fish or beaver. I took this photo in 2003 of Hart Lake, the headwaters of the Wood-Tikchik River in Western Alaska.
